Four kinds of virtuous men worship Me, O Arjuna—the distressed, the seeker of knowledge, the seeker of wealth, and the wise man, O lord of the Bharatas.

The distressed : he who is in distress, overpowered by a robber, a tiger, illness or the like. Knowledge : of the real nature of the Lord. The wise man : he who knows the real nature of Viṣṇu.
